Product Review – Camera Dollar System

Being an amateur photographer myself, I have always enjoyed taking pictures and tinkering around with them using photo editing software. It had never even crossed my mind to try and make money selling photos. I have taken the odd picture that I have been very pleased with, but I never thought I could take any that people would want to buy.
That was until I came across the Camera Dollars program. This enlightened me of the fact that anyone who could take a reasonable quality picture could make money by selling your pictures online. This interested me and straight away I wanted to know how do you sell photos online. This is described in full in Camera Dollars.

What the product says it does:

It will tell you how to make hundreds, even thousands of dollars a week selling your photos online by submitting your pictures to the internet in your spare time. Even if you are a ‘newbie’, this program will teach you how to make money with its proven and tested method. No expensive printers or equipment needed.
You will be given all the information you need to succeed from scratch, no experience necessary.

What you will learn:

- How to earn ongoing residual revenue by submitting photos to newly discovered in demand photo sites

- How to ensure you are getting the best fee possible for each photo you upload online

- A little-known photography market that is exploding thanks to the internet

- How to get very-very large commissions by taking pictures of vehicles for sale in your local area and uploading them onto eBay motors

- How to put yourself in a buyer’s shoes and always shoot to sell

- Who pays the highest rates

- How to turn your photos into screen savers and other money-making products

- How to easily find websites that will practically beg you for your photos

- What a “field rep” is and how you can start providing this in-demand service immediately

- How to sell your images offline

- How to make money in the competitive world of celebrity gossip sites

- How to take pictures of sporting events and sell them online

- How to dramatically improve your chances of getting each one of your photos accepted by all of the photo sites

- How to make your images look professional for extra cash even if you are an amateur just starting out

- What to take pictures of

- How to sell your photos like hotcakes on eBay

- And much, much more!

What you will NOT have to do:

- IT DOES NOT require you to create any websites.

- IT DOES NOT require you to ship anything.

- IT DOES NOT have anything to do with adult or pornographic content.

- IT DOES NOT require you to have some “high-tech” digital camera because you are   going to learn several ways to make money with just a regular digital camera!

What the product actually does:

This is a widely used product and system with over 18,000 people worldwide (according to the author) currently making a full time living using these methods selling photos online.
These ebooks (there are 2) are written by a professional free-lance photographer called Brian Moore. Brian Moore makes his living using the system he has laid out in Camera Dollars so it was good to see somebody practicing what he preaches.

The first ebook starts with a few tips and techniques to use, although I thought that some of these could prove to be a bit too ‘techy’ for a beginner. It then carries on to tell you about taking photos at sports events and weddings, hardly an original idea!

But then it comes up with some juicy information about different stock image sites that you can submit your photos to. This is more what I was looking for originally, and it doesn’t disappoint here. It does also tell you the need to research your topics to see what is selling well at the time. It does give some good ideas’s that I wouldn’t have thought about either.

The second book goes into different methods, and although overly impressed with the idea Brian has here of becoming a vehicle listing agent, it did make more sense after reading further and it became clearly how well this method could work.

Conclusion:

The content is not what I first thought it would be, but there are some very valuable tips that I can see working very well. Plus the list of sites to use is worth the money alone in my eyes. I think some of the methods will not appeal to all, but some will and I think anyone could benefit in some way from it.
